Cast of Characters and a Modest Introduction

For the most part, I really just want to write about games, PCs, and hardware. However, a proper introduction is necessary to establish credentials and all that crap. Nobody really cares, but hey, that happens.

My name is Brian. I like games, PCs, music, and Sony. I am also a Christian, but this will not be a focal point, because I really just want to do a tech blog for once. At this time, I am a senior in college (4.5 years projected), I live with five other guys, and I quite enjoy my setting. There. The crappy stuff is out of the way.

First and foremost, my list of games is too lengthy to properly give each of them credit, so I’ll speak in generalizations. My favorite aspect of games is the story and the player’s ability to affect it. Chrono Trigger (SNES) comes to mind. After that comes the requirement for formation of a strategy. Real time strategy games and a handful of tactics games would go here: Age of Empires 2, Starcraft, Final Fantasy Tactics, Shining Force 2, etc. Essentially tied with strategy is action. First-person shooters and other action games fit under this category: Resident Evil 4, God of War, Half-Life 2, Silent Hill 3, etc. And games that start with “Castle” and end with “-vania.”
